
SAD to see this caption above the schoolboy memories of Roger Highfield (Mid B 69-75), New Scientist editor and bestselling author.
Perhaps it's misleading, as the phrase "little boys" suggests he's referring to his junior house days rather than his whole CH career. I hope so.

I think that it is more a case of a not very bright sub-editor searching for an eye-catching headline. He seems to have got a very good education and you can't do that if you hate every living moment.

No, perhaps you can't. Certainly hope you're right in this instance. I remember Roger as loads of fun and would be sorry to think he'd given so much enjoyment at CH and got none back.
